School Choir

On Monday 6th February 2017, 29 members of the school’s choir travelled to the O2 Arena in London to perform with approximately 7,500 other children at the Young Voices concert.

The choir spent the afternoon rehearsing a variety of songs before their parents were invited into the arena. At 6pm, the doors opened to parents and the arena filled up. Our children sang, danced and signed beautifully to the songs, which they had been rehearsing with Miss See since September.

It was such a long day for the children- we were not back at school until 10:30pm. However, they all showed exemplary behaviour and effort throughout the day and we are proud of each and every one of them!

On Wednesday 9th March 2016, our School Choir smashed their performance at the Sounds of Swale Concert. Performing two hit songs, when I grow up from Matilda and Fix you by Coldplay, the choir astonished their audience and the crowd of 300 school children from Swale started to wave their arms in time to the Music.

Our amazing pupils sang confidently and with beaming smiles on their faces throughout. All of the singers gave 100% but a special mention must go to our soloists who overcame their nerves to blow the roof off!

A big thank you to Miss See for all of her hard work with the choir and we all look forward to seeing how the choir develops over this year.

On Friday 26th February 2016, the School Choir performed their favourite songs so far to their Parents and other family members. The concert was a fantastic display of proud, confident children who love to sing. Well done Choir members – Keep on singing!
